2 Australian post punk podcasts

These were originally on another one of my blogs called Humans Beware, but I decided to transport them here and start a whole new blog looking at this era of music...hey, why not !!

A regular blog visitor of mine called Miguel recently emailed and said he was enjoying discovering some of the Australian post punk songs which pop up from time to time and would I consider doing an all Aussie Post Punk thing sometime. Well...of course I can !! So to kick off, here's 2 podcasts for you.

Systematics - Micheal Filewood, Patrick Gibson & Fiona Graham ( down the pob )

This blog is of course named after the b-side of Pel Mel's first single "No Word From China" - EXCEPT, I spelt it wrong...seems it's Ipaneema on the single...oh well !!

Jane and Judy from The Limp/Pel Mel

A great site to check out for info on these bands and the scene at the time is the No Night Sweats website, run by Phil Turnbull, a member of Wild West & Voigt/465 amongst other bands. Yeah I pinched some photos from his site for this post :)

oh if you downloaded these from Humans Beware before I moved them, then you don't need to get these files, however I have renamed the files - humansbeware14 to monamour01 and humansbeware15 to monamour02
